hello, new member from victoria bc
hello, i've got a '95 escort 1.9l with 455500km's on it. i've had other cars with high millage ( 84 fiero with 720000km's) but this is the best one ever. This thing purrs like a kitten. when i bought it a few months ago it ran awesome, i inspected under the hood and found that it had a broken spark plug wire and also a spark plug that was only being help in by one thread, (and it ran great!) i replaced the wires and plugs and now it runs like new! the only other problem is that it is leaking coolant pretty bad from the water pump( i think it's only the gasket) I'm getting ready to fix it, i'm wondering if there are any tricks to doing this job. i know you've got to remove the timing belt ( i plan on replacing it at the same time) i've also heard that you need to remove one of the engine bolts, is that true? thanks for all the help
