Default Hello: from Rich Drums

I am a ford guy, I have a 64 ford fairlane 4 door. Yes! a 4 door, It has won 2nd place trophies 2 times. Not bad for a 4 door. I like to go on the forum and find out what is new in the mechanical world.

Does it blow hot on acceleration? If it does, look for a vacuum leak in the system. Next time it does it, check to see if cold air is coming out of the defroster vents.

Welcome to the site Rich..

When it blows warm, also check for compressor run time...

The compressor seems to run as needed, like everything is fine. There is no cycling off and on when the clutch is engaged. When you shut off the clutch it shuts off. I am baffled.
thanks guys
