Default Help and Adivse, btw Hello

Hi Guys,
just joined, although not a Ford Owner at the moment.
At the present i have an Omega 2.5 V6, and before a lot Volvos and Pajero etc.
my last Ford was a Granada 2.8 and this is a couple years ago.

now Time changes and I am looking something newer.
As a kind of Family Member is working at a big Ford Dealership I thought i may see what a finance brings and if it is a very good Deal, of course for me, I was going to get one.

a year or two years old.
the idea was a galaxy, but which one.

i personally like petrols, mainl;y big engines, as they reliable and long living.
powerful is a must. men's thing of course.

i know there are galaxy's v6 petrol out and about and also same power on diesels.
it must be automatic, I am far too lazy for gears, also to busy on playing with switches and having a drink in my hand. lol

anybody on here, who can tell me more about the difference between diesel and petrol,
but I am talking about 200+ bhp.
not the slow old man's zetec version which has asthma by pressing the pedal down.
also i have to tow a caravan sometimes so it should be capable of doing it up the hill faster then an old tractor.

looks, - well, i like to personalize my cars anyway, so hid or not i will have them, big wheels and stuff is standard for me.

any suggestions ?
and mainly what problems I am looking forward to?

Thanks

btw, i looked the Kuga and it looks nice and aggressive but apparently has tyre problems and the engine is short living, also is a bit small.
so therefore i think the Galaxy is just the right Size.
( not for Kids, for me and the missus plus 2 dogs, i like space )

In an Ideal World i would go for a Mustang or something like that, but that would be if i still be single and 20 Years younger. Ha Ha

Welcome to the site, and the U.S.?😎

I'd do a crew cab diesel. Easy to build substantial HP, neck snapping torque, towing
Monsters, and plenty of room for family and grocery get n👍
