I just got 97 expedition Eddie Bauer with some minor problems, it has 250 plus miles on it, runs good but of lack of care and a little work. I replaced all the door locks all filters, replaced all ext. lights with new ones, replaced int. lights with leds, even dash board lights. had a problem with the brakes, found out the front bearing where bad. I replace the bearing and brakes front and rear.I don't mess around with bad brakes. my first car was a 56 ford wagon when i was 16 years old and the master cylinder went out and had good ride trying to stop and hit any thing. my first car repair without you tube. I am 69 year young now. i like challenges like this expy. something to do on my off time, i have some some what street race cars back in the day and stay the local tracks in california. lions, irwindale, ocr, vegas, carlsbad ,etc. back in 1988, I purchase a ford bronco to tow vw to differnt tracks in cali and las vegas. I put over 300 thousand miles on before i trade it in. great truck, i towed my boat, pop up tent trailer. My wife and I been married some 43 years so you can tell i hang on to things some what. besides working on my truck, i am kinda helping a long time friend of mine with his vw, he has a 750 holley and a large tubro . long time member of nhra and have standing seats at pomona for both national meets there.
