Hey, I just signed up after realizing it may be hard to find parts to my Thunderbird. I really like my 1997 Ford Thunderbird 4.6 V8. I picked it up four years ago with 46K for $5000 in mint condition. I now have 97K on it and it still runs like a clock. Well, I will fire a question right now since I just joined. I lost a windshield washer bottle cap and need another one. The Ford Dealers no longer have them in the tube so they say. My only option is maybe go to a junk yard and looking for another option. The cap I have is snap on. No auto parts stores like Auto Zone, Pepboys or NAPA have them in the tube. Is it possible that Ford's Later Models cars have those same size caps that fit? Even EBAY, I am having trouble finding one. Anyone have any suggestions or have extra laying around that can ship to me? I am using a plastic baggy with rubber bands around it right now. Thanks for the help.

 

I would try a salvage yard first most of those has or had a cap that had cable or some type of string attached so that you would not lose them it may be that you have to buy the whole overflow and washer bottle as a unit. welcome to the sight and good luck with your t-bird
