Hello everyone. I am new here on this forum. I have bought a Ford Focus 2019 / 2020 1.5 Ecoboost ST Line Estate with Sync3. The Owners Manual says I can switch the system on and use it for up to an hour without switching the ignition on . It also says that I can use the system after I turn the ignition off for up to 10 minutes or until I open a door but does not tell me how to do either. If I stop the car and turn the ignition off, the radio will turn off after about 2 minutes. I have phoned Ford near me but no one is there who can tell me what to do to keep the radio on.
I would be grateful for any help.

So the ignition has a few positions, off, accessory, on/running, & starting.
I believe that ford means you can turn the key to accessory and the radio along with a lot of other things will work but the key is not technically turned to on.
I have never timed how long the radio stays on after turning the key off and removing it, I would check the settings in the instrument cluster and in the radio to see if you can adjust it.

I love the Focus ST estate manuals trans, I would rather own one of them then a mustang.
