I was looking for a place to find help with my AODE and hopefully I will find it here.

I've been a Ford guy since I was a kid and got my first car at 16, a 3 yr old Mint 1968 Torino GT 390 with the Ford toploader 4 spd. I learned a lot from that thing. Back in that day, power upgrades weren't changing computer chips or raising fuel pressure. It was more like getting 428SCJ heads and milling them .030, changing cams, carb and manifold. Also had a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 428CJ in 1973). Yea, with the shaker scoop (still kicking myself for selling it).

I temporarily switched to GM cars during the garbage years (1972-1974) but went back to the Blue Oval in 1985 (Mercury Grand Marquis 5.0 CFI)

Anyway I've been through several cars since then, never bought anything with less than 8 cylinders until I bought my 1992 Thunderbird SC 5 spd. Still have that but now my daily driver is a 1998 Lincoln LCS 4.6 DOHC.

Nice line up from the past (and present.) It's good to hear you got over that whole GM thing...
