My2000 Ford focus (high mileage)is making a horrible noise. The faster I go the louder it gets. I have been accused of vacumming while on the phone or being on an airplane. I think the noise is coming from the rear. Any clue to what this might be?

And my blower used to work on 3 and 4 only, then it changed to working on 1 and 2 only and this morning, not working at all . Any clue on this problem?
