Smile mod motors

Hello all
I'm new here, but an "old" guy..hahaha
always been a Ford guy, since I was that old, we had a 52 Ford
tudor when I was born, then got a 62 Ford country sedan wagon.
right now I have a 77 Ranchero, and because I'm in Cal
I'm really thinking of pulling the mechanics out of it, and junking
her, looking for a 73 or 74 at the right price, but this not why
I'm writting this.
I've always thought of stiicking a mod motor out of a RWD car
into say my 56 Packard, and since my local ecology is having a
half off in July, I was wondering what I need to pull from a
donor car, engine, trans, as much wiring as possible, radiator
electric fan, fuse box, and computers...anything else.
its just and idea might not do it now, but for the right price.
Best
Dave
