im confused a bit on this truck, and id greatly appreciate some input on what exactly it is

Looks like a 79 F150.. The rectangle headlights would make it a 79 as long as the front is original.. Have a VIN number?

 

no i dont have a vin, its my aunts truck and shes only wanting 500 bucks for the unit and well im only 18 years old and it seems like a great project to work on and a good truck to keep for a while. It needs new motor and interior though which isnt that bad considering there is one little patch of rust on the rear fender, thanks alot

 

oh and it looks to be a 305 under the hood if thats any help, thanks
