Default Motor swap in a 95 tbird

Okay let's see if I can figure this out with everyone's help. I have a 95 tbird has/had the 3.8 in it that motor was bad when I bought the car. I also bought a parts car that was a 96 cougar with the 4.6. With that said I am at the point in this swap that I have the pcm and harness from the cougar in but the plugs from the pcm to the dash don't match up what do I do now ? Do I pull dashes and rewrite the whole thing or is there a better way/easier way ? Thanks

This is sticky. If I remember corretly, the 3.8 in that year was
eec IV, and the '96 (all cars and light trucks) were EEC V. To make a very long story short, yes, you'll need to swap all the looms, as there is so very much different in the engine and body wiring in 96 that the 95 didn't have or have to have.
If you'd like a detailed message, I can get technical, but suffice it to say that it would be a fight.
