Hi guys, I have an el ford Fairmont pretty sure it's 1997 I can stop at a set of lights and take off flat foot and it's like it don't won't to go no where it's like something is blocked. I've changed the spark plugs & fuel filter. Even when I have it in park I can try and rev it and the revs will come up very very slowly even when it's flat. Is there anyone that can tell me the problem please. Would be much appreciated.

Is the idle stable and smooth? No CEL etc.
