Hey guys,

My names Caleb, recently got a 2014 manual ford fiesta se with about 15000 miles on it.
Everything is working perfectly, considering i got rid of my mazda rx8 which was nothing but a money eater. However, recently I took it in to get a key fob programmed and waited two hours for them to tell me they couldnt program it and that there might be some communication problem on it and told me to take it back in next week. Well, a couple days later i turn on the car and right when i turn it on a strange fast paced ring comes on for about 6-8 seconds then turns off. This also happens when I turn the car off. A couple days later a slower sounding alarm comes on which replaces the faster one. And today, well my key wont even start the car, not even a dead battery click. It just wont do anything. All the electronics work perfectly.

I attached the first sound that started and the second one. Now it doesnt even start!

 

sounds like a theft deterrent issue....system not recognizing the transponder key. try the 2nd key


any theft lights on?

 

The noise started to come on with the first key! no theft lights come on and both keys dont work. They both worked before. Had it towed to the ford dealership today, showed them the noise and they have no clue.

So found out what it was, well the ford dealer did. Basically someone installed an aftermarket theft system for basically if someone didnt pay their monthly payment they can shutdown the car and what not so they removed it but wasnt covered by warranty😡 Who installs something like that...
