Default New Bee

Hello People
Iam new here and but not new to the racing world. I love my Fords and chevies and olds as were a big family and i do the building for all. Iam 57 and go along ways back so iam here to learn some more and help out if i can. We have a family web site WWW.FriedbergRacing.com Iam a high rpm nut ive been spinning this stuff way up there and had my ups and downs, In the passed Ford has used alot of nickle in there cast iron castings making them alot stronger and better wearing Ive kept a few ford engines over the years and wish to know some history on fords 400m crankshaft that was used are they n/iron or cast iron in the 351m and 400m motors of yesterday. i had some clevelands but wish i hung on to them and have a old truck 351W 4 bll motor. I do my own head work and block work ,short of boring and line honing. Chrys 440 mag valve springs work great on 400m cleve and 351m with very little work and they wind up nicely. Anyway hopefully my stay will be welcomed.
Seasons Greetings To All Douglas aka star393
