New to the forum and Looking for answers
Im new to this and thought this would be a good place to find some answers. I am planning on restoring and rebuilding a 1977 F100. Problem is figuring out what engine is in it. It came from someone who used it as a farm truck and things where very cheaply fixed or just avoided. Though it was barn kept and floor pans and rocker panels are in excellent shape, the motor has been molested. Parts missing such as coolant reservior and other things as one might expect from an truck from the 70s. Here are some pictures and maybe someone could help me. I have checked the door i.d. plate and the fifth digit is a N which stands for 429-4V. Though the drivers side door and fender where both replaced, looks like due to a side swipe of some sorts judging from the grille which was never replaced. Also I looked for the engine ID decal on the right valve cover front, which I did not find and I am unable to find any alphanumeric stamp on the front of the block. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!

Actually I looked a little too quick It's a 351.. The firing order on a 351 is (dist CCW rotation) 13726548 and the 5.0 is 15426378.. Looking at your pics, its 'fairly' easy to see the plug wire location/rotational count..
