I am new guy here. I own a 2008 Ford F-450 6.4L PSD CC 4X4 4.3 rear end and 2004 Ford Taurus and 1995 Taurus. I love all my Fords and would own anything else. Plus I live in Iowa. I really love my truck it's Big Dog Daddy of all trucks. I pull 38FT Forest River Sierra Camper with my truck.

I NEED HELP WITH TWO PROBLEMS. 1ST I HAD A HEATER CORE PUT IN A COUPLE WEEKS AGO,WHEN I GOT IT BACK MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON,HORN WON T BLOW,CRUISE CONTROL DON T WORK.MECHANIC SAID IT WAS CLOCK SPRING.I THINK THAT HE FORGOT TOHOOK UP SOMETHING.ANY IDEAS? THANKS.

 

ANOTHER PROBLEM IS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT,HAVE REPLACED 3 EGR VAILS,LIGHT WAS OFF FOR A WHILE AFTER REPLACED THEN ABOUT 3 MONTHS LATER LIGHT BACK ON.GOT TO GET INSPECTION NEXT MONTH.ANY SOLUTIONS.

 

If this all began after the heater core installation, I'd highly suspect the mechanic scewed something up during the repair. I would pressure him to troubleshoot the problem, and if heruns a respectable business, he should be more than willing..
