Hey guys! New To the site and Im sure there is a thread for this But I couldnt Find one!!

I have a 97 Ford F150 4x4 with 4.6 v8

Engine light came on and started flashing I hooked it up at autozone on a scan tool and it says Bad EGR Valve and Missfire Detected in Cylinder # 4

So I change The Plug (Which by the way is a pain to do) No change Still Missfire and Shakes like it has a tire out of balance goin down the road! So I check The injector with an ohm meter and All The injectors are The same.. I know it still could be a bad injector but for now Im Runnin Some injector cleaner through it! Im Going Tomorrow To get the compression checked.. Hopefully Nothing Major but with my luck It probably is ! Has anyone had this problem? COuld it be something else minor??[&:][][&:]

 

just had my kids 01 in for the same thing, it needed the TB cleaned out, carbon buildup and aic sensor

 

Did You notice any power loss because of the situation?? Will a dirty throttle body really make an engine light come on or make a scan tool show missfire??
