Default new member, qeustion about a project

hi my name is aaron. im looking at purchasing a 66 ford dually that i need to restore. it is not running and has no bed, the cab fenders and hood are in fantastic almost compleatly dent free condition. id be swaping the not running motor and tranny out for something more new age and hot. the local junk yard wants 650 for it. is this a good deal or should i pass it up? i love the look of the truck but i dont wanna over pay for it. any way just thought i should ask you guys for an opinion. the windshield and passenger side window is good. the rear window and driver side window are shot out. any way, look forwaard to hearing from you guys. peace out

sounds like a very long project.i'd pass on it.you can buy a running truck for that or a little more.a couple of years ago i bought a 81 f-350 for 1,000 dollars put a clutch in it and sold it for 3,000 dollars.just keep looking
