Hi everyone,
I admit it...I love Ford. My first two cars were Mustangs. The last 4 cars I've purchased have been Fords starting with an Explorer in 2002 which was traded for a 2009 Escape which was traded in for a used 2009 Edge Sport (awesome car). These were all the wife's commuter/family weekend runaround cars.
Saturday I traded in my 2001 chevy silverado 1500 (inherited from father-in-law) in on a 2011 F150 FX4 ecoboost. I couldn't be happier with it. Of course I've only got 100 mile or so on it, but I'm totally in love.
Most of my wife's family are GM and Dodge folks, especially in the truck department, do I put up with a lot of "good natured" teasing, but they usually shut up when I take them out for some back road fun in the Edge.
Anyway...glad to be here on the forum.
Chris
