Default New OLD guy joining in!

Just registered here to see if ya'll can help. Just bought a 1990 F-150, 4.9 straight 6, automatic 2wd. It runs rough when first started doesn't matter if it is warm or cold. It clears up after about 10 minutes but I don't like the hesitations, buck and snort stuff. WHere do I start? EGR? O2? Cat?
Secondly the fuel level sending unit may be bad. Dual tanks, is it true that there is only one sender in the main tank?
SO yes, I am older, too many cars in the garage, BUT I believe "He who dies with the most toys WINS"!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance for help. Dj

Smile Inactive or not willing to help a guy out???????

So Ford Lovers, Tell me, is this a VERY inactive site. OR is it that no one cares to help new guys out here? I'm just curious as I had only one reply to my questions for help and it was simply a WELCOME. I'm not trying to anger anyone just wondering if its a waste of time here. Dj
