Above is my new Ford F-250. $800 and soon to be a load of trouble.

Stalls out after a few minutes of driving. Could a leaky transmission be the culprit? I know she has gas in the tank, and ran okay for 15 miles previously.
There is red fluid on the ground after a stall, but otherwise no major leak that I can see when parked. Why would a tranny leak cause the car to stall out?
