Hey, I am Sawyer.

My uncle has a Capri (if this isnt a ford please point me in the right direction) that hasnt run for awhile. I think he said the last time it ran was in '94. What would I need to replace or fix to get it running again? I think that it is a 2.4 liter, not sure though. It has everything it needs, but what are some things that should be refreshed or replaced? Brake components, fluids, bearing, rings, seals? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Without knowing what condition the car is in or how it was "stored," I'd say add fresh gas and use a good battery and crank it over. Then I'd check spark plugs and such after that. It depends on how it reacts to the initial turning over of the engine. It wouldn't hurt to change the oil first, too. Was the car not running before it was "stored."
