Oil leak at

F 150 2005 Lariat 5.4 Oil leak at filter housing .

Can you determine if it is coming from the filter mounting itself or another area? Best to clean area and confirm exact location of leak.

can you tell if the leak is coming from the filter or the place where the filter goes on ? maybe the filter has 2 gaskets instead of 1 ! it should only have 1 gasket on the filter ! see if you can tighten it some !
