Default Running out of parts to replace, need insight please.

Good evening all,
I bought a 1990 e150 cargo van (4.9 ltr inline 6) mid December of 2023,
Previous owner stated he thought the the timing was off. I drove it home about 15 miles, it was hard to get above 45 mph spitting and jumping and carrying on.
He had already replaced the plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, etc. I ended up replacing the coil but with no change. It ended up being the fuel pressure regulator, and the ceramic was broken on the #2 spark plug. I checked the timing again and it was close.
When I start the van it fires up normal goes to a high idle for about 1 minute maybe less and then drops down to about normal (without a tachometer). With the engine warm, I run the RPMs up with the accelerator pedal and have no problems. However when you put it in drive and accelerate it speeds up and slows down as if jabbing your foot onto the gas pedal. Over a distance of approximately 100 ft it slows down and speeds back up about six times over the course of 2-3 seconds each time, but it doesn't buck or jump or do anything erratic.
Please help me, I am running out of parts to replace.
(Just kidding), there are still a few.
Could it be the TPS? I have already replaced the MAP sensor, EGR valve, Coil, Plugs, ICM, Fuel Pressure Regulator and it has a new Battery in it.

Thank you in advance, for taking a look and possibly offering advice.
