Question Swapping a 3.8l mustang into f 150...

I have a 4X4 1997 F150 w/ a 4.2 v6 that bent a valve and blew a head gasket at 80k The truck is in decent shape and I want to keep the truck so I have been doing some research. Aparrently the 4.2 is basically a time bomb even if I rebuilt it so I have been looking for different options that are cheap and reliable. I have access to a 2003 mustang 3.8l v6 with low miles and I want to be sure it will bolt up. Will the tranny, intake and exhaust all bolt up? What about the wiring harness and cpu? Are the motor mounts the same? The hp and torque loss are minimal and the engine does not have the inherent head gasket problems and the older 3.8 and 4.2. Anyone have any advice or tips before I buy the mustang angine?? This is my first post.
