taurus, hard starting

Default taurus, hard starting
96 taurus cranks far too long when starting, but will start. made sure fuel pressure was good, almost seems to be spark related. has 3.0 L V6, A/T, A/C, P/S. Thanks for any help in thismatter.

I had a crowne victoria that would be difficult to start and progressively get harder to start until itwould not start at all. Turned out to be the crank shaft sensor going bad.
