I bought a Ford Edge in January 2013. I love the vehicle! I have been very careful to comply with the maintenance schedule (both while the bumper-to-bumper warranty was in effect and now). I recently began noticing a slight amount of slippage with the transmission. The car was about due for an oil change so I took it in and had them check the tranny fluid level. They discovered it was 2 1/2 quarts low! They did a thorough search for leakage, but no leaks were found. The only conclusion I can draw is that the vehicle was under-filled at the factory and that I have been driving the car that way for the last 3 years. Are there any other relatively new Ford owners out there who have checked their tranny fluid level (or any other fluid level for that matter) and discover a deficit?
