Hello Ford Fans, this is my first time on the FF site. I found it while looking for troubleshooting ideas for my Crn Vic and Gr Marq. I am a car enthusiast and have a mint 77 LTD blue with white vinyl roof and a 60 "Bugeye" Austin-Healy Sprite, a hand me down from my Dad from his SCCA road racing days. Those are my fun cars.
My daily driver is what brought me here. I recently purchased a 96 Grand Marquis with the intention of selling my 95 Crown Vic. Now I am stuck. The 96 has as many problems to fix as the 95 and I have to fix the 95 first to sell (wife says so). Of course I want to work on the Marquis first since that is what I am now driving.
My biggest concerns are that when starting the Grand Marquis the air suspension pump runs for a few seconds and then shuts down and the Check Air Suspension light comes on. Next, the car is very hard to start when cold and the check engine light has come on, and the engine boggs when getting into the throttle. Then yesterday all of the turn signals and flashers just quit working. Oh, I almost forgot, the compressor for A/C and Defrost does not kick in. Where do I start?
Oh well, not to worry, it will get taken care of someday someway.
