Hi, SHPBLING here, been building modified Fords since 1973. First build, 1964 Fairlane. 289 Cobra Jet, Holley 750 duel feed double pumper, solid lifters, 4 speed w/Muncie crash gears, line lock. tubbed, two speed posi rear end I got off a wrecker. Ran 120 octane through it. Took 3yrs to build, broke it out after high school graduation........It was worth the wait!

Default ford 460

There is conflicting info about the real 460 and run of the mill engine. I have been trying to get accurate opinion on whether a 429 timing gear and chain will do anything for a 1987 460 re: fuel mileage, power or propane conversion?
