Talking new owner of a 68

Hello all,
My name is Shawn and I recently purchased a 1968 Ford F-100 Styleside. This truck has been something I've been searching near and far for many years. I'll post some pictures of her soon.

Exclamation Hello, Frustrated and Grateful

My name is Connie, I am the owner of a 1987 Georgie Boy Lean Machine. Have been learning more than I care to about being an RV repair person.

For the past three months I have been searching for the engine manual for this model. No luck. Georgie Boy said go to the Ford Museum. But I cannot pay their prices for nothing. They do not have what I need either. It would seem that this model was an in between. The owner's manual does not fit this model at all. Got a copy from the company same deal, exact copy of the one I was given. Everything is original except for small repairs.

I need the engine manual for this model. Deciphered the VIN, it is an E class, 7.5L/460, built Dec 1986. Cannot find the brake cylinder to put fluid in, thought I was poring brake fluid in the right cylinder, turns out to be the power steering which is leaking everywhere. Explains the spots on the wrong side of the body. There is more, I need to understand the placement of everything, use to small cars, this is different. Stuff I do not even know about.

Thank you, looked for a place to ask about this, but got lost.

Blessings.

Default Hi All

My name is Dan and I am in NJ. I am starting to work on a 1960 F350 Dumptruck with my brother-in-law that he just inherited from his father. He had always wanted to see it on the road again so we want to do it as a tribute. I am looking for ideas as to where I might be able to find sheet metal and/or repro parts. The dump works great and we would love to be able to get this going again. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi! I live in north alabama and I'm now the proud (read as "sad now but I'm hopfully one day really going to be proud") owner of a 68 ford f-100. I've owned many brands and models over the years and I was hopeing that going with a less complex vehicle would reduce mainenance costs and agrivations... I was wrong so far. The truck looks good in the driveway... I'm looking forward to getting some work done, pulling the boat to the lake, or just driving around with my kids exploring places we haven't been yet. Maybe someone will be able to help me get this truck going?
