From time to time, my family likes to go on weekend long bike rides. But our car is a Ford Mondeo and so we usually just rent bicycles. Now we have discovered this and would like to ask how to secure such a bike rack to the car roof. Are you required to use a drill and screws or do you somehow clamp the thing to the windows? Maybe you need to use a roof railing? How fast are you even allowed to go with a fully loaded bike rack?
