Default Bigger is Better

Ford has not always been an innovator there were times when old
Henry was just so stubborn, like (no hydraulics) and the phony test
on the frozen lake. Or the Mercury line, never really letting it be a stand
alone division, the same goes for Continental line. But Ford was
the first with a mono block V8, first with an ohc engine (guess)
and i do count it as it was commissioned by Ford Motor. From 1955 to
1959 Ford cars won more NASCAR races then any other make,
(so much for the chevy engine). First with a true "Big Block" which is
funny since that's all you hear about chevy BB. In 59 you could get a
430ci in a T-Bird, 61 you could get a 352 solid lifter with 360 HP, also
a 410ci with 406HP, during this time. 63 you could order a 427 4 years
befor the other guy put one on the road.
I could go on, but thats not what why I was going to post.
for over 25 years now Ford has build nothing but OHC engines,
so what I'd love to see is a new 427 engine all aluminum. with either
OHV or OHC, not sure which I'd like to see. But also one that has
limited computer use or none at all, and that goes for a new automatic trans
one that does not need a computer... Someone at ford should get their
head out of their ***, because like usual Ford is losing money in the aftermarket, because of the computerized trannies.. NO not that kind!!!!!
Anyway that is my mid year wish.. how about
OK, so when I'm up at 3AM I have nothing else to think of, well sometimes..
Best

If you check out the Ford vs Chevy weights, in most cases the Ford is the
lighter block
