Bronco reservation turned into order

Bronco reservation turned into order
Hi all,
I had a reservation for a Bronco that I wanted to cancel, but the local dealer has turned it into an order without my consent.
The dealer won't take my calls and Ford Customer Support say there's nothing they can do.
Anyone had a similar issue?
Best,
Neil

My dealer has had a hard time getting enough broncos in stock, I wouldn't be surprised if the dealer could just sell it to someone else.
I've never made a reservation for a car so I don't know how it works but it seems like the dealer did their job.
Look over all the paperwork you signed carefully to check exactly what you agreed to.

For sure the dealer could just sell it to someone else, but that doesn't change the fact that I didn't order it.
I made a reservation only which is fully refundable. The dealer turned it into an order without any consent/input.
Not sure the dealer did their job. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's illegal.
The dealer is still not responding which is a shame.

If you do not have any paperwork but put down a deposit for the reservation I dont know how you can prove that the dealer did not do there job, it sounds like the dealer not ford corp is screwing you.
I know this is mean but I don't know why one would put down a (I assume) large deposit without signing some type of written down agreement, but I have never made a new vehicle reservation so I do not know the process.
I think you should contact the GM of the dealer to file a complaint or find out who owns the dealer and contact someone higher up in that corporation to file a complaint, if that does not work a lawyer may be your next step.
I hope someone else here has some other recommendations more to your liking.
