trying to find a way to see if my 1967 mustang S code still exists.

Any suggestions would help me put closure to this.

I recently tried finding my original 77 Trans Am SE Y82 (Bandit Edition) but I only had my license plate number. Tried our local DMV but the plate was no longer active, so my search ended pretty quickly, although I look from 'time to time ' out on the net since i do have some of the dealer/man. info.. I did however buy another 77 SE to restore and save. Optioned better then mine, and in all reality my origianl car could very well be long gone after 35 years. You could try your local DMV and have them run the VIN and see if there is any owner on record. It should give you the owner/transfer history as long as the car wasn't moved out of state..

Fond another '67 close to what I had, but would still like to see if my first 67 is still out there.

 

Went to DMV their records don't go back that far. this is Virginia DMV.
