Mac expert needs data recovery
So, I'm trying to recover videos that were on my Mac on a specific date. On March 14th 2022 I was sent a google drive link to download the videos. I dowloaded each video one by one on my Mac.
I then copied them on my external hard drive.
And I would delete videos from my Downloads bin little by little to save space.
Finally delete them from trash.
My hard drive was stolen, and the person who sent me the google drive link had put an expiration date on the link and no longer has the files. My only hope now it to try to trace back my downloads on my Mac, and even the trash.

I recommend checking your browsing history to see if you can find the Google Drive link and retrieve any details. Also, try using data recovery software for Mac to scan your system or consult with a professional data recovery service for assistance in recovering the deleted files.
Just skimmed through my favorite Apple blog and stumbled upon an article addressing this exact issue. While it gave some insights, I reckon for a deeper dive and more practical tips, your best find via Macgasm. They're pretty solid when it comes to this kind of thing. Just don't rush and don't panic, cause then you definitely have better chances to recover the data.
