Recent Ford Purchase. :D
$2000 for a 1972 Mustang Grande Coupe. Minor cosmetic reconditioning needed. Original motor and tranny with 140k miles on it. New struts. Power steering and brakes. What do you guys think? I figured it was a pretty darn good purchase. lol.

Ugg, don't get me started! I'm never afraid of any classic vehicle no matter the make, so that's why I bought the Mustang.
I must also admit I bought a Ford Ranger, a few months back for work, but only because it was $950 with 127k miles and wouldn't pass smog. I knew what the problem was (he didn't), so I'm into it $1200 and it's worth almost $2000.
I also have a 260z I'm restoring with a LS1 (corvette) motor for a drag and drift car.
But yes! I am owning a lot of Fords. My only complaint is that compared to chevy, they seem overall cheaply built. Not to say they're mechanically unsound, just that the interiors, hardware, suspension, etc seem flimsy. I'm definitely not afraid to own another Ford though. Parts are cheap. :P

Looks pretty nice
Yeah,, I've owned way more than my share of the Big 3 as well as a collection off shore vehicles over the years. I used to buy 'a lot' of insurance wrecks as builders over about a 20 year spread before the 'salvage title' came into affect, and some after. It really seems to decade and model dependant on 'ALL' the manufactures. Kind'a like quality 'Ping Pong' They all had their blunders with build quality and questionable components and/or life span. Sometimes in the same year/s or many apart.
Personally,,, I thought the Vega was a great car
