Default Unexpected Change of Plans in France

Hello everyone. My itinerary in France changed at the last minute after a friend canceled part of our trip. Now I need a flexible way to move between several smaller places that are not easy to reach by train. Has anyone faced a similar situation and what solution worked best for you?

I spent a few weeks in France last year while combining travel with some remote work projects. Because I was moving between different regions, I spent quite a bit of time researching transportation and planning routes. During my research, I came across a website that may be relevant for people searching for rent a car in France https://getrentacar.com/en-US/france

Thanks for sharing, that actually makes sense. I’m mainly trying to avoid being stuck with fixed schedules, so a more flexible option could really help with covering smaller towns. I’ll look into a few possibilities and see what fits best for the route I’m planning.

Yeah, I had a similar impression while planning my route. Between smaller towns the timing and connections can be tricky, so having something more flexible definitely helps keep the itinerary realistic. It’s mostly about making the travel between places less dependent on strict schedules and delays.
