Bought this truck a few weeks back got it running great it had been sitting since 08
it has a 460 in it matched up to an Allison automatic transmission
​​​​​​ can’t find any tags on the tranny did these come with automatics ? I want to change the tranny fluid but unsure what to use
I’m not entirely sure this was a factory dump truck either
According to the heads this is a 1973 460 haven’t confirmed the block yet

 

The Allisons that I serviced used Dexron . Back in those days it was called Type A.
