Default 4.6L fits what else?

Having overheating issues with a 97 Lincoln towncar which originated with the heater core going bad causing the initial over heating. now the problem has risen again.
Heads were milled 2 years ago so a second go seems iffy. Am considering a used engine swap. Anybody know what other years and models may fit, or point me in a direction to look? OR will this engine handle a second milling? No experience with fords (doing this for my mother)
Thanks

have you chemically cleaned and flushed the cooling system. be sure you purge all of the air out of the system or you will have overheating issues…
while the system is open check the radiator for corrosion/blockage..
make sure you are set at the proper timing and using the proper grade of fuel for the higher compression due to the milled heads…
