62 Ford F100 going fuel injection
I have a 1962 Ford F100. It has the stock 240ci with 3 on the tree. I want to replace it with a 300ci. A friend just offered me a 90's something F100 with a fuel injected 300ci. Even though I would have the parts to swap, is this more of a pain then it's worth to swap a regular gas engine for a fuel injected engine?
If you are determined , have the time and some background you could probably do the job. Just keep in mind fuel injected vehicles require several inputs for the system to function , and these have to be tended to before the system can work. I believe there may be some kits out there to help accomplish this although I haven't seen one so far.
ty Hanky, appreciate the reply. I wasn't really very set on the idea, but I had a chance to get one that was running and complete. I think I'll wait and get a 300ci 6 cylinder from the '70's and just have it rebuilt.
