Hey I'm new to the site and recently came across a 79 LTD II, Car runs and drives recently had the carb replaced (old carb would spit gas into the housing) & full oil change.
In the morning car cranks up fine im told, but the problem comes after driving for about 10 minutes, The car would completely shut down if it dropped below a certain RPM (not sure if that's 100% the reason car doesn't have an instrument panel) but after putting the car in park and turning the ignition off and back on the car would crank back up. Leading to believe it was something to do with their battery they tightened the battery terminal connectors. And they said it ran good for about an hour until they ran into the same problem again.
Does anyone have any insaght on what the cause of this problem could be?
Or ran into the same problem?
