Hi,

My Grandfather used to own a 1980 Ford Zephyr and being such a car enthusiast, I tried looking it up, but all I got were pages to the European Ford Zephyr, and the Lincoln Zephyr. Does anyone know where I can get info and/or pictures of this car?

I think the car he must have owned was a Mercury Zephyr which was the Mercury version of the Ford Fairmont.

 

They were like the Fairmont Futura. Zephyr was a 2 door and a nicer style to it than the 4 door Fairmonts, although a Few Fairmonts had a wonderful original baby blue paint color (not the light blue).

 

I recently purchased a Mercury Zephyr from a neighbor. It is in near mint condition with 32,000 miles on it. It is a real beauty. I can send you some pics if you would like.
