Default Things that should be know before buying 1955 Ford Customline

I've been head over heels for a slightly rough, blue, 1955 Ford Customline. I know very little both about cars and classic cars. The car have been looking at is listed for $3500, runs, drives, but is unable to pass inspection (I haven't asked yet on the specifics) and as its required for getting a title in Massachusetts and the cars title is lost (don't know if thats a red flag, but I've better researching up on all common inspection repairs and the specifics of the legalities) but before getting into the depths, I just wanted to know if the Customline is a good car, any commons problems, tips, or just anything you know about the car, because I no car expert, but wanted to know if its worth restoration to turn into an everyday use car. Thanks. -Samantha

As far as an everyday use car, I don't know. Parts could be a problem.
Six or eight cyls ? Both were good.
