Default Pros and cons of the 4.6L engine.

I’m in somewhat of a dilemma and could use some advice. I was gifted a 1950 ford F1 with a 2000 4.6 liter engine in the truck. There is no computer or any components really to make the engine run. I’ve been researching the fuel injection parts or even carburetor setups as well and was wondering if it’s worth continuing down a path with this engine or getting another engine like a 5.0 or another ford motor that’s easier to find information and parts for. I’m open to all thoughts and advice on either set up and could use all the advice I can get! It is holding up all my future work on the truck because I’d like to get that figured out before I wire the truck and do any other upgrades. Thanks
