Doing a slight rebuild on my Grandma's transmission, only the second one I've gotten into, just replacing seals & frictions but not very educated about complete function of this Tranny.

My problem is I don't know if this stator is good or bad, it has some check ***** on the side that don't move or roll, are they suppose to move or I'm worried about something that is standard?

One large one has a spring & I can't make it move either, this thing got really hot so I'm not sure but the fron band & discs burned up, any tips would be great.
