Need help from someone with extensive knowledge, and before I go further let me say this. No I’m not selling the truck and buying a 4x4. I have tried to locate a c6 4x4 trans for a while but being it’s for the 6.9/7.3 it is not an easy task. The truck is pristine I have all the abilities to do the swap minus the knowledge of the shafts

with that said I have a 87 f250 that came with a 6.9 but I just threw in a brand new reviva rebuilt 7.3, it is the ext can long bed 2wd, I’m moving someone a bit remote and 2wd is not gana cut it. I have a parts truck with everything I need for the 4x4 swap but it’s a gasser. I will be swapping the output shaft and tail housing to convert it to 4x4.

I need help in figuring out what size output shaft I need. If anyone has good knowledge and can just let me know what length I need that would be splendid unless someone has a 4x4 c6 diesel trans laying around
