I'm gonna need a pro on this.
I'll try this question in this category first and hopefully someone with more experience then myself will be able to help.
First. I needed a new work truck so I bought a 1994 ford econoline club wagon at a good price. It has a 302 (5.0 ltr.) in it.
The transmission will not shift by itself but will shift manually from the column. I assumed a solenoid was bad or something small like that.
Well...It turns out someone has replaced the 4.9lt in the van with a holly carberated 302.
The tyranny is the e4od.(?) I think.
The plug from the (ECC) was unplugged so I plugged it back in. But the transmission still does not shift by itself.
How can I get the E transmission to work with a carberated 302?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,.
