ok ive got a 1968 ford f-100 that belonged to my grandfather.
it was passed down to me about ten yrs ago .
i recentley started to redo the truck i pulled out the stock trans and 240 inline six and replaced it with a 1969 f-100 crate 5.0 i got a tran from a buddy of mine that is now in jail for a long time anyway he said the trans was a AOD out of a 1989 crown vic but when i got a starter for a crown vic it doesnt fit how and where would any numbers be that would tell me what trans i have
