I have a 98 Ford Explorer Sport. One day on my way to work I put my explorer in reverse backed up maybe a few inches and went no further. The truck made a very quiet "pop". All of the other gears are fine. We flushed it and still nothing. Any ideas? Valve body?

 

It might be the plastic worm gear, but only a tear down will tell.
