Default Upper Intake Manifold from an F-150 97-2000 direct fit?

I have 2001 F-150 4.2ltr and I am attempting to replace the upper intake manifold but the only replacement that comes to mind is the 97 98 99 00 FORD F150 UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD 6-255 4.2L. Would this be a direct fit? I know that the 2001 engine is smaller by the specs but wonder if this will still fit.

Default Transmission upgrade, or rebuild with different parts?

in my 2001 F-150 reg cab 2 wheel drive 4.2L manual transmission, I have an 8.8 rear end with 3.73 swap. Is there a transmission out there I can swap with the one that is stock with little to no modification? Or is there a rebuild kit that can give me different gear settings plus a larger transmission cooler to accommodate the 3.73 gears?

We need a little more detail in what you're trying to accomplish are you wanting to go from a stick shift to an automatic or what?

I already have a manual transmission, I installed 3.73 gears in my rear diff. Now my truck sounds like it is in 4th even though it is in 5th Over drive. The question that I have is "would I need to do a transmission swap with a 6th speed manual?" or "transmission rebuild with different ratio of gear?"
